Peer Review Process

1- Submission:

    • Authors submit their manuscripts through the AIJP online submission system.
    • Manuscripts are checked for compliance with submission guidelines, formatting, and plagiarism detection.

2- Initial Editorial Review:

    • The Editor-in-Chief or an assigned Associate Editor conducts an initial screening to determine if the manuscript fits the journal’s scope and standards.
    • Manuscripts failing to meet basic quality or relevance are rejected at this stage.

3- Assignment to Reviewers:

    • Manuscripts passing the initial review are sent to at least two qualified reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
    • The journal employs a Double-Blind Review Process, where both authors’ and reviewers’ identities are anonymized to ensure impartiality.

4- Reviewers’ Evaluation:

    • Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, scientific rigor, relevance, clarity, methodology, and adherence to ethical standards.
    • Reviewers provide constructive feedback, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
    • Reviewers recommend one of the following outcomes:
      • Accept without revisions
      • Minor revisions
      • Major revisions
      • Reject

5- Editor’s Decision:

    • The Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editor reviews the feedback from all reviewers and makes the final decision.
    • If revisions are required, authors are notified with detailed feedback to guide improvements.

6- Revisions and Resubmission:

    • Authors revise their manuscript based on reviewers’ comments and resubmit it for further evaluation.
    • For major revisions, the revised manuscript may be sent back to the original reviewers for re-evaluation.

7- Final Decision:

    • Once the reviewers and editor are satisfied with the manuscript's quality, a final decision of acceptance is communicated to the authors.
    • If the manuscript is rejected, clear reasons are provided to the authors.

8- Copyediting and Proofreading:

    • Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting to correct language, grammar, and formatting issues.
    • Authors review and approve the final proofs before publication.

9- Publication:

    • The manuscript will be published in the next available issue of the journal and made accessible online.

10- Post-Publication Review:

    • AIJP welcomes comments and corrections from readers, ensuring ongoing quality control and transparency.
